Daesung Energy Appoints Park Moon-hee as New CEO... Dividend of 250 KRW per Share Approved
Shareholders' Meeting and Board of Directors Meeting Held
Daesung Energy Co., Ltd. appointed Park Moon-hee (59), the current CEO of Daesung Clean Energy Co., Ltd., as the new CEO at the shareholders' meeting and board of directors held at the headquarters in Namsan-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu on the morning of the 20th.
New CEO Park majored in Industrial Engineering and Energy Studies (Master's and Ph.D.) at Ajou University, and has served as a professor at Hoseo University, chairman of the Energy and Environment Committee of the National Science and Technology Council, and CEO of Daesung Clean Energy Co., Ltd.
New CEO Park Moon-hee stated, “I feel a heavy responsibility in taking on the role of CEO of Daesung Energy, the group's core company, amid difficult conditions such as decreased sales due to rising temperatures and high volatility in international natural gas prices. I will secure a foundation for sustainable growth of the company and build a company that contributes to the local community and national economy through eco-friendly energy.”

At the shareholders' meeting, Daesung Energy announced, “Thanks to the efforts of our executives and employees, we have overcome last year's poor performance and achieved an operating profit of 20.3 billion KRW and a net profit of 14.9 billion KRW last year,” and resolved a dividend of 250 KRW per share.
