Korean-Flagged Cargo Ship Capsized in Japan, 8 Rescued... 3 Missing
On the 20th, Asahi Shimbun reported that four more crew members were rescued from a capsized Korean-registered chemical product transport ship (chemical tanker) off Mutsure Island in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Honshu, Japan.
As a result, the total number of rescued individuals has increased to eight. The transport ship had 11 people on board, including 2 Koreans, 8 Indonesians, and 1 Chinese. It has not been confirmed whether the Korean passengers have been rescued.

According to the Japan Coast Guard, around 7 a.m. that day, a distress call was received from the Korean-registered transport ship (KEOYOUNG SUN) reporting that "the ship is tilting."
The transport ship capsized while anchored due to rough weather.
