Dong-A University Hosts 'This Year's Club Fair'
Operation of Over 40 Central Club Promotion Booths
Events, Experiences, Dance, Band... Performances Held
Dong-A University (President Lee Hae-woo) successfully held the ‘2024 Academic Year Club Fair’ to foster a healthy university club culture and provide club information.
The Club Fair, held over three days starting from the 19th at Seunghak Campus Newton Park, featured over 40 central clubs including ‘Dong-A Automobile Research Club’, ‘Haneulbyeol (Astronomy Observation)’, ‘Popcorn (Film Production)’, ‘FGC (Acoustic Guitar)’, ‘Dong-A Kendo Club’, ‘Dong-A Yacht’, ‘The Joker (Magic)’, ‘Photography Art Research Club’, and ‘Hanul (Volunteering)’, promoting new member recruitment and hosting events.
On the final day of the event, the 21st, performances were held by the ‘Dong-A University Cheerleading Squad’ and bands and groups such as ‘Cantabile, Yoon Yuwol, Craypas, Koma, Flat, FGC, Echoes of Song, Streets (Band)’, ‘Garion, Frix (Dance)’, and ‘Leadmer (Black Music)’.
Jung Yoo-jin, president of the astronomy observation club ‘Haneulbyeol’ and a sophomore in the Department of Archaeology and Art History, said, “I was very nervous preparing for the Club Fair, but since it was successfully held, I think we will be able to engage in more diverse activities in the future,” adding, “I will work hard to further activate the club.”

Kim Do-yeop, a freshman in the Department of Mechanical Engineering who participated in the event, said, “There were many booths prepared by the clubs, so there was plenty to see, and it was good that freshmen could easily learn about the clubs,” and added, “I want to join a club and enjoy my university life to the fullest.”
