County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “It seems to have been a good opportunity to inform residents about cancer prevention rules and the importance of cancer screening,” adding, “As congestion is expected during the year-end health checkups, those eligible this year (even-numbered years) are urged to undergo cancer screening promptly.” She also said, “Since tuberculosis is a disease where early detection and treatment are crucial, we will do our best to block transmission within the community through early tuberculosis screening.”
