Gyeonggi-do Offers 45 Types of Incentives to Industrial Complex RE100 Participating Companies... Nationwide First
Gyeonggi Province will provide 45 types of incentives to companies participating in the ‘Industrial Complex RE100’.
The Industrial Complex RE100 project involves installing solar power facilities on factory roofs or idle land and supplying the renewable energy generated there to factories within the complex and external companies.
Earlier, to reduce the burden of installing renewable energy for companies in industrial complexes, Gyeonggi Province selected a total of eight investors through a public contest in July last year, including SK E&S, LS Electric, Isola Energy·Enlighten, Korea East-West Power, Sinsung ENG, Enel X Korea·Korea Midland Power, DL Energy·Samchully Asset Management, and KC Solar & Energy.
Gyeonggi Province will issue an ‘Industrial Complex RE100 Participation Certificate’ and provide incentives to industrial complex companies that install solar power through the eight investment partners under the agreement.
Participating companies can receive the ‘Industrial Complex RE100 Participation Certificate’ after reporting their construction plans. When applying for any of the 45 projects they wish to participate in, they can submit the certificate along with the application to the relevant department to receive priority selection or additional points. Applications for corporate support projects are also possible without the certificate.
The main incentives include ▲energy diagnosis and efficiency improvement support projects ▲renewable energy installation loan support ▲ESG management introduction support ▲energy diagnosis and facility improvement support ▲infrastructure support such as corporate environment improvement projects ▲commercialization support such as customized support for small and medium-sized enterprises’ production and sales channels ▲domestic and overseas marketing and sales channel support ▲and digital consulting for small and medium-sized enterprises.
