Seoul City to Support Management of Officetels and Mixed-Use Complexes
April Applications, Final Selection of 15 Complexes in May
Professors, Lawyers, and Housing Managers Provide Consultation
Seoul City has decided to support the management of collective buildings such as officetels and mixed-use residential-commercial buildings.
On the 19th, the city announced the launch of the "2024 Collective Building Management Committee Operation Support." It will provide expert advice for collective buildings where active management is difficult due to different owners per household, including appointing managers, setting management regulations, and holding management committee meetings.
The program targets apartments with fewer than 150 households, row houses, multi-family houses, knowledge industry centers, officetels, and mixed-use residential-commercial buildings. Large apartment complexes with 150 or more households are excluded.
The city will accept applications until the 19th of next month and plans to conduct management committee meeting simulation training for all applicant complexes in May. The simulation training will reproduce the entire process from planning to holding the management committee meeting, providing education on various situations that may arise during collective building management.
Among these, 15 complexes selected as final support targets will receive 1 to 3 sessions of support from collective building experts such as professors, lawyers, and housing managers. Experts will provide face-to-face consultations on forming the management committee, holding meetings, appointing managers, and establishing or revising regulations.
