"Yangjaecheon Swimming Pool as a Four-Season Theme Park"
Pilot Operation Starting on the 24th of This Month, Running Until June 9th
Yangjaecheon Swimming Pool, which provided fun as a swimming pool in summer and a snow playground in winter, will once again transform into a spring playground for children.
Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) announced on the 19th that from the 30th of this month, Yangjaecheon Swimming Pool (near Yeongdong 1-gyo Bridge on Yangjaecheon) will be operated as the ‘Bombom Playground.’ The purpose is to create a four-season theme park where residents can enjoy play and relaxation in their neighborhood without having to go far.
‘Bombom Playground’ is composed of various play facilities and resting spaces by utilizing the existing swimming pool site and facilities, covering a total area of 6,400㎡. In the swimming pool area, there are kid-sized boats, water balls, and squirrel tunnels that can be used on the water, and the lazy river pool has been transformed into an air ball experience space using winding paths instead of water. Play facilities are provided from the small train at the entrance to the large air bounce slide inside.
As a resting space, the family lounge ‘Seocho Green House,’ which received great responses during the snow playground operation, will be operated, along with convenience facilities such as a snack bar and restrooms. Fifteen safety personnel are deployed throughout the facility to ensure safe and comfortable operation.
‘Bombom Playground’ will operate until June 9th this year, with operating hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, closed on Mondays. The admission fee is 1,000 KRW for Seocho-gu residents, and a comprehensive program ticket priced at 10,000 KRW allows access to all play facilities, while individual facilities can be used separately for 2,000 to 3,000 KRW each.
