Asan City Operates Eco-Friendly Hydrogen Street Cleaning Vehicle... "First in Chungnam"
Advantages of No Emission of Harmful Substances like Exhaust and Minimizing Noise Generation
Asan City in Chungnam announced on the 18th that it will begin operating the province's first "eco-friendly hydrogen electric road dust surface cleaning vehicle."
The hydrogen surface cleaning vehicle is a vehicle that vacuums sand, gravel, and various types of trash scattered on the road to clean the streets. In particular, it is an eco-friendly vehicle powered by an engine based on a hydrogen tank, and Asan City is the first in Chungnam Province to introduce it.
Unlike existing diesel vehicles, the hydrogen surface cleaning vehicle operates solely on hydrogen fuel, producing no exhaust fumes or harmful substances. Additionally, the noise generated during operation is significantly lower than that of diesel vehicles, minimizing inconvenience to residents during city driving.
