Kim Seong-hwan, an independent preliminary candidate for the Gwangju Dong-gu Nam-gu-eul constituency, is receiving praise from citizens for his bicycle-based election campaign.
Kim Seong-hwan, the independent preliminary candidate, stated on the 17th, "I am riding a bicycle around the electoral district to meet more people," adding, "Many citizens are expressing dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party's unfair nomination process and are supporting my independent candidacy."
He also emphasized, "Campaigning by bicycle seems to be the optimal way to visit every corner of the neighborhood and meet each resident personally," and "In particular, citizens respond very positively to this campaign style that listens carefully to their voices and communicates directly."
He continued, saying that through his bicycle campaign, "This general election will show who truly owns Gwangju politics, and my independent victory will serve as a strong yellow card against the Democratic Party's disregard for Gwangju."
