Pyeongtaek Tongbok and Seojeongri Markets "Onnuri Gift Certificate Refund for Domestic Seafood Purchases"

Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province will hold a refund event for domestic seafood Onnuri gift certificates at 27 stores within Tongbok Market and Seojeong-ri Market for seven days from the 16th to the 22nd.
Hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and organized by each market merchants' association, this event is designed to alleviate the price burden on consumers using traditional markets and to revitalize the local economy.
During the event period, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., when consumers purchase domestic seafood, the participating stores will register the sales details in the refund system, and consumers can visit the gift certificate refund booth to receive a partial refund of the purchase amount in Onnuri gift certificates after verification. The refund amount is 30% of the purchase amount, up to a limit of 20,000 KRW per person.
The participating stores include 22 in Tongbok Market and 5 in Seojeong-ri Market. Store information can be confirmed by contacting the merchants' association or through posters and stickers displayed at the stores.

The city explained that the event may end early if the budget is exhausted. Also, imported seafood is excluded from the refund, and for processed foods such as salted seafood, the domestic raw material content must be at least 70%.
