Gyeonggi-do to Hold Six Regulatory Rationalization Review Meetings This Year
Gyeonggi Province will hold a regulatory rationalization touring meeting.
Gyeonggi Province announced that starting with Yeoju City on the 15th of this month, it will hold the "2024 Regulatory Rationalization City and County Touring On-site Meetings" at six locations until July.
This on-site meeting will be conducted in six regions by city and county, through collaboration with local governments, businesses, and residents to identify unreasonable regulations in daily life and regulations affecting self-employed and small business owners. Then, the Office for Government Policy Coordination and field experts will participate in joint discussions to explore solutions.
As the first meeting, on the 15th, the 1st region meeting will be held at Yeoju City Hall to discuss ▲relaxation of the urban planning committee review requirements for development activity permits ▲allowing wastewater reuse facilities within factory establishment approval areas ▲easing location regulations for advanced industries in line with the national advanced strategic industry promotion ▲expanding the scope of official access to family relation registers ▲and relaxing property standards for basic livelihood security benefit dependents.
The regulatory improvement proposals discussed that day will be submitted by Gyeonggi Province to the Office for Government Policy Coordination, reflecting review opinions presented by the Office, experts, and businesses.
