Changwon Special City Conducts Safety Inspection at Apartment Construction Sites During Thawing Season
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that it has been conducting thawing season safety inspections at apartment construction sites within the city since the 4th.
This inspection was carried out to prevent disasters and safety accidents such as ground subsidence caused by rising temperatures on the frozen ground surface during winter, focusing on apartment construction sites currently underway in the city.
The main inspection items included ▲ prevention of collapse due to ground weakening from thawing during excavation and embankment work and compliance with standard slopes ▲ inspection and management of the installation status of temporary structures such as formwork, scaffolding, and props ▲ and focused checks on quality control plans and their implementation.
The inspection results showed no serious violations posing safety issues, and minor risk factors were immediately corrected on-site. Construction personnel were urged to thoroughly manage the site.
