Jeonnam Province to Systematically Support Yeosun Incident Victims and Families
Final Report Meeting Held for Support System Construction Project
Jeonnam Province will take systematic measures to support the victims and bereaved families of the Yeosun Incident.
On the 14th, the province held a final report meeting for the Yeosun Incident Victims and Bereaved Families Support System Construction Project at the Eastern Government Complex, attended by heads of bereaved family associations from cities and counties, working-level committee members, officials from Jeonnam Province and city/county governments, and project executors.
At the report meeting, the final review and demonstration of the system built since October last year were conducted, and future plans for the stable establishment of the system were discussed.
Jeonnam Province is building a support system that provides real-time updates on the reporting, reception, investigation, review, and decision-making processes to satisfy the victims' and bereaved families' right to know and enhance convenience.
The main features of the system include ▲ reporting and reception of victims and bereaved families and progress status ▲ application for bereaved family certificates ▲ application for living assistance funds for bereaved families ▲ promotions and announcements.
Jeonnam Province has applied a data encryption communication protocol (SSL) security server to the system to thoroughly protect the personal information of victims and bereaved families and plans to manage the information safely to prevent any leakage.
