Man in his 60s Arrested and Sent to Prosecution for Stealing Workshop Tools to "Steal a Bicycle"
A man in his 60s who climbed a ladder to break into an auto repair shop and steal tools has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 14th, the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested and sent Mr. A, a man in his 60s, to prosecution on charges of trespassing and habitual theft.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of breaking into an auto repair shop in Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu on the 10th and stealing tools worth approximately 130,000 won, including an electric screwdriver and cable ties.
Mr. A brought a ladder that was near the building to enter the repair shop, searched the warehouse and drawers to steal items, and was caught in the act by a patrolling police officer as he tried to leave.
