An accident occurred where a bald eagle, the national bird of the United States, had a 'head-on collision' with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction. Surprisingly, the eagle survived because part of its body got caught in the car's radiator grille slot.

The official Facebook account of the Calvert County local government in Maryland, USA, announced on the 13th (local time) that a bald eagle collided with a car on the road.
The startled driver immediately stopped the car and got out. However, the driver soon discovered that "the eagle that collided with the car was alive and, moreover, trapped in the car's grille."

Although the eagle was injured, it was able to survive. It is presumed that the impact was mitigated because the eagle's abdomen was lodged in the car grille at the moment of collision.

The animal control officer explained, "After completing the examination, we confirmed that the eagle's health was not seriously affected," and added, "It was immediately released back into the wild after the rescue."
