Gwangju Dong-gu 'Gymnastics Correspondent 16:00' Operation
Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 13th that it will operate the visiting program ‘Exercise Correspondent 16:00’ targeting workplaces in the district to create a lively work atmosphere and spread a culture of practicing healthy living in daily life.
‘Exercise Correspondent 16:00’ was designed to improve workplace health behaviors through physical activities during spare moments for office workers who spend most of their day in the office. Every Wednesday at 4 p.m., an exercise instructor visits the office and conducts about five minutes of daily exercises using a self-produced video.
Dong-gu plans to expand the program in the second half of the year by recruiting workplaces with many sedentary workers after a pilot operation and monitoring with feedback from employees in the first half of the year to improve any shortcomings.
