Gyeonggawon Provides Customized Support to 30 Furniture Companies in the Province
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will discover 30 excellent furniture manufacturing companies in the province and provide customized support from product development to marketing.
On the 12th, the agency announced that it is recruiting companies to participate in the project until the 19th to foster companies in the furniture manufacturing sector, a representative specialized industry in the province, aiming for regional economic development and job creation.
The support areas include mold making and mock-up production in product development, and catalog production, video production, media advertising, and online commerce in convergence design development marketing.
The eligible applicants are furniture manufacturers with manufacturing facilities located in the province.
The agency will provide project funds ranging from 20 million to 30 million KRW per company to those finally selected through screening.

Park Jong-young, Head of the New Industry Division at the agency, said, "This project was planned to lead the innovation and growth of Gyeonggi-do furniture manufacturers in response to the digital transformation era," adding, "The agency will continue to lead the digitalization of the regional economy and expand the furniture industry ecosystem in Gyeonggi-do."
