Gyeonggi Office of Education to Hold Convergence Education Policy Council on the 13th
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold the ‘Convergence Education Policy and Joint Policy Council’ on the 13th at Seoul National University Siheung Campus to explore and implement directions for future convergence education.
This policy council is a gathering to seek new directions for future-oriented convergence education, with about 100 participants including multicultural education, foreign language education, arts education, and reading education officers from the Convergence Education Policy Division and affiliated education support offices.
In particular, at this council, Lecturer Kim Min-seok from Seoul National University will give a special lecture on the theme of ‘Future Education from the Perspective of Human Evolutionary Theory.’
Following this, officials from the Office of Education and education support offices will explore ways to activate convergence education under the themes of ▲systematic support for multicultural students ▲foreign language education to develop future competencies ▲school arts education to cultivate emotional strength ▲reading and humanities education to broaden life horizons.
