Gyeonggi-do Actively Promotes Early Execution of Budget
Gyeonggi Province is actively promoting early fiscal spending.
On the 11th, Oh Byeong-kwon, the First Deputy Governor of Gyeonggi Province, held the '2024 1st Quarter Fiscal Execution Inspection Meeting' at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office and urged continuous attention to prompt execution and full efforts in management.
The meeting was held with 31 deputy heads of cities and counties participating via video to check the execution status of each city and county and to prepare specific measures to improve the execution rate.
Through this meeting, Gyeonggi Province plans to discover projects eligible for additional advance payments, such as facility expenses accounting for 44.5% (9.3181 trillion KRW) of the target amount for cities and counties, analyze reasons for delayed execution, and actively manage fiscal spending to ensure the originally planned amounts are executed.
