Dunamu's investment subsidiary, Dunamu & Partners, announced on the 11th that it has invested in Yukwaehan Project, which operates the B2B (business-to-business) mental healthcare platform 'Klypi.' The round, led by Dunamu & Partners, also included participation from 500 Global in Silicon Valley, USA, with a total investment amount of 1.2 billion KRW.
Yukwaehan Project plans to target the psychological counseling demand of B2B clients and establish a healthy psychological counseling culture. They develop optimized psychological counseling programs for issues encountered during work processes in collaboration with psychiatrists, and use artificial intelligence to match specialized counselors by field to provide services to companies.
To this end, they recruited Professor Baek Jong-woo of Kyung Hee University Hospital, recognized as the top authority in domestic mental health medicine and post-traumatic stress disorder, as CMO (Chief Medical Officer), and secured expertise with 22 domestic and international psychiatrists joining as angel investors.
Hong Ju-yeol, CEO and founder of Yukwaehan Project, founded the meal kit startup 'Tastynine' in 2015 and led its growth into a company with 80 billion KRW in sales and profitability at the time of its merger and acquisition (M&A) with Fresh Easy in 2022. Dunamu & Partners was the first institutional investor in Tastynine.
CEO Hong said, "We aim to help improve work efficiency and corporate growth by providing effective mental care for employees through optimized programs and matching with professional counselors tailored to companies."
