Vegan Fashion 'Woofwear' Launches SSF Shop Luxury Section
To Be Sold at Other Fashion Malls and External Select Shops
Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 11th that it will start an import business by acquiring the distribution rights of overseas fashion brands and distributing them domestically.The first brand is the Italian vegan fashion brand ‘Woofwear’, which will be exclusively introduced in Korea.
Lotte Homeshopping plans to generate profits through the overseas brand distribution business as part of its new business initiatives. They will discover global fashion and accessory brands that have not yet entered the domestic market, sign business contracts, and officially import them.
To this end, last year they established a Global Sourcing Team dedicated to importing global brands and managing domestic operations. Imported products will be sold on external shopping platforms such as fashion specialty malls and select shops, rather than their own channels. Brand marketing will also be conducted, including influencer collaboration advertisements and short-form video production. Additionally, they plan to discover overseas brands to be introduced in offline channels such as department stores.
As a first attempt, they are launching the Italian eco-friendly fashion brand Woofwear exclusively in Korea. Woofwear is an Italian contemporary brand characterized by bright colors and unique silhouettes. It pursues a unisex style that can be worn by both men and women. The brand showcases sustainable fashion using eco-friendly materials such as recycled plastic and vegan fur, and is popular among local young consumers who pursue value-based consumption.
Woofwear was exclusively launched on the 7th in the luxury section of SSF Shop, a fashion and lifestyle specialty mall. They unveiled four new products including the denim ‘Half Cotton Jacket’, the ‘Back Shirring Windbreaker’ which is highly versatile as a transitional outerwear, and the ‘Stripe Knit T-shirt’ featuring pop art colors. Next month, after launching the French watch brand ‘Laps’ on SSF Shop, they plan to expand sales channels to platforms such as SSG.com.
