View original imageThe Ministry of Economy and Finance announced that Choi Ji-young, Director General for International Economic Affairs, presided over the "2nd Korea-Japan Deputy Ministerial Finance Dialogue" with Masato Kanda, Vice Minister of Finance of Japan, on the 8th at the Ministry of Finance in Tokyo, Japan.
At this meeting, both sides discussed global economic and financial market trends that require opinion exchange and cooperation between the two countries' finance ministries, as well as agendas on multilateral platforms such as the Group of Twenty (G20) and ASEAN+3.
The upcoming 9th Korea-Japan Finance Ministers' Meeting was also included in the discussion topics. A government official stated that the two countries exchanged views on related agendas based on a friendly relationship.
