This patrol was conducted to raise awareness and implement proactive prevention measures.
In particular, promotional materials featuring the slogan "No Tobacco, No Drugs, No Gambling" were distributed along with self-produced leaflets to youths and businesses harmful to juveniles. The campaign included guidance and protection activities for youths and cautioned business owners about employing and allowing access to juveniles.
A parent, Ms. Kim, who participated in the joint patrol, said, "I felt uneasy as a mother and a fellow small business owner when I saw news reports about businesses suspended for violating the Juvenile Protection Act. I feel rewarded to have this opportunity to both support small business owners and protect youths."
Kang Yong-jun, Chief of Muan Police Station, stated, "We will do our best to establish a safety network for youths by collaborating with related organizations to protect them from various harmful environments."
