Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the 'GTX-B Line Groundbreaking Ceremony' held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon on the morning of the 7th and took a commemorative photo with residents of the Yeouido area.
On this day, to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Metropolitan Area Express Railway Line B (Incheon National University Entrance~Maseok), government officials, local governments, residents, and construction personnel gathered in one place to pray for a successful opening and to pledge cooperation among institutions.
Once the GTX-B line opens, it will be possible to reach Yeouido from Songdo, Incheon in just 23 minutes. In particular, Yeongdeungpo District, the transportation hub of the southwestern area, is expected to establish a comprehensive metropolitan transportation network with the opening of GTX-B, Sinansan Line, and Seobu Line.
