Kim San, Muan County Governor, Conducts On-Site Inspections by Visiting Key Forestry and Park Projects
Review of Progress at Six Major Project Sites Including Climate Response Urban Forests
Kim San, the governor of Muan County, conducted an on-site inspection of major forest park projects on the 5th.
According to the county on the 7th, this on-site inspection targeted six major forest park projects, including climate-responsive urban forests, to check the status of project development and management, gather opinions on site safety management and difficulties, and review the overall progress of the projects.

Governor Kim San visited the ‘Muan-eup Seongdong Reservoir Ecological Platform’, ‘Oryong Climate-Responsive Urban Forest’, and ‘Namak Eco-friendly Wooden Playground’, which were established last year, inspecting the growth condition of trees, pedestrian routes, and safety, while urging continuous maintenance.
He also received reports on the construction progress at the sites of the ‘Illo-eup Baekryeon-gil Climate-Responsive Urban Forest’ and the ‘Namak Railroad-side Climate-Responsive Urban Forest’, both scheduled for completion in the first half of the year, and ordered prompt project advancement.
In particular, he visited the site next to the Oryong District sewage treatment plant, planned as a pet playground, to check the status and instructed active efforts to ensure smooth project progress.
Governor Kim San stated, “We will do our best to create forests where residents can rest safely and comfortably,” adding, “We will faithfully carry out projects such as the Seongdong Reservoir waterfront ecological cultural park to make a healthy and livable city.”
