Haman-gun Confirms Hosting of the 36th Aragaya Cultural Festival
October 11-13 Event... Around Haman Museum and Maliyasan Tumuli Cluster
Haman-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 7th that it held the 1st Aragayaculture Festival Committee meeting to prepare for the 36th Aragaya Culture Festival in the medium conference room on the 3rd floor of the annex building of the county office.
On this day, 18 committee members including Haman-gun Governor Jo Geun-je attended and discussed the basic plan for the Aragaya Culture Festival event.

This year's Aragaya Culture Festival was confirmed to be held for three days from October 11 to 13 at the Haman Museum and the Malyisan Tumuli area to establish the identity and independence of the cultural festival and to enhance the promotional effect on the first anniversary of the Malyisan Tumuli's inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Governor Jo, chairman of the Aragaya Culture Festival Committee, said, "This year's festival will commemorate the joy of the first anniversary of the Malyisan Tumuli's World Heritage inscription and will make every effort to prepare for the successful establishment of the Aragaya Culture Festival as a historical and cultural festival," adding, "We ask for the interest and support of all the residents."
