SK Telecom Signs 4-Year 'Bold Contract' with Kim Jae-hee

SK Telecom supports "beautiful golfer" Kim Jae-hee.
On the 6th, SK Telecom announced, "We have signed a four-year sponsorship contract with Kim Jae-hee, a former national team member, until 2027." Most sponsorship contracts last for two years. Kim Jae-hee is a promising player who advanced from the national team and became the top money winner on the 2020 Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Dream (2nd tier) Tour. Last year, she demonstrated her skills by finishing as runner-up at the KLPGA Tour Daebo House D Open and the S-OIL Championship. She has a strong fan base thanks to her engaging communication with fans and witty personality.
SKT plans to build a corporate-friendly image through sponsoring Kim Jae-hee, who has a young and fresh image. SKT intends to apply its systematic management and athlete support capabilities to the golf field as well. SKT currently sponsors golfers such as Choi Kyung-ju, Lee Bo-mi, Kim Han-byul, and Lee Seung-min. Oh Kyung-sik, head of SK Telecom’s sports marketing, stated, "We have signed a contract with the promising Kim Jae-hee. We will strive to maximize the athlete’s potential through systematic support and contribute to the development of the golf industry."
