He expressed gratitude to the medical personnel who are filling the medical gaps and diligently staying by patients' sides at each medical institution, saying, "Although there is a medical vacuum, I would like to thank the medical personnel who are filling the gaps and working harder to stay by the patients' side," and added, "The places where medical personnel should be are like fish that cannot live without water: the emergency room, clinic, and operating room."
He continued, "Medical personnel may have many concerns, but if you make related claims while staying by the patients' side, it will be more sincere, and both the public and the nation will listen attentively."
He also said, "In the West, you can often see hospitals named 'Good Samaritan Hospital,'" adding, "It is meaningful to think once again about why such a name was given."
Finally, Lee appealed, "Because medical care is a public good, there must be no gaps or abandonment even for a minute or a second," and urged, "Once again, I ask medical personnel to return to the side of patients, their families, and the public to protect the public’s right to health and right to life."
