KG Mobility Sold 9,452 Units Last Month... 9% Decrease Year-on-Year
KG Mobility announced on the 4th that it sold 9,452 units domestically and internationally last month. This is a 9.4% decrease compared to the same period last year.
It sold 3,748 units domestically, a 44.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The company explained that this was due to a reduced number of working days during the Lunar New Year holiday and weakened consumer sentiment.
Exports increased by 56.4% to 5,704 units during the same period. Sales increased to Hungary, the United Kingdom, Spain, and T?rkiye, exceeding 5,000 units for two consecutive months. Although domestic sales were sluggish through last month following January, exports increased, resulting in sales of over 9,000 units for two consecutive months.

The company is strengthening its export market strategy to increase overseas sales of the electric vehicle Torres EVX. Domestically, vehicle prices were lowered in response to reduced electric vehicle subsidies. Jung Yong-won, CEO of KG Mobility, said, "We will expand the global launch of competitive models and strengthen our response to the domestic market to further increase sales volume."
