Gangjin Fire Station Operates 119 Safety Experience Event at Gangjin Celadon Festival
Over 3,200 Visitors Participated Over 10 Days
Jeonnam Gangjin Fire Station (Chief Choi Ki-jung) announced on the 4th that it operated the 119 Safety Experience Festival, a 10-day event from the 23rd of last month to the 3rd, where citizens could participate in experiential education on everyday safety accidents.

View original imageThe 52nd Cheongja Festival was held around the Goryeo Celadon Museum located in Daegu-myeon, Gangjin-gun, and anticipating a large crowd, a venue was prepared to provide 119 safety education to the visitors attending the festival.
Approximately 3,200 visitors participated over the 10 days, and since they could directly experience CPR and fire extinguisher use, the educational effect was significant, resulting in high satisfaction among participants.
The 119 Safety Experience Festival included △ education and promotion on how to use fire extinguishers using smoke fire extinguishers △ training on CPR and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) △ emergency treatment education for airway obstruction △ distribution of leaflets on the mandatory installation of residential fire safety facilities.
