They plan to recruit a large number of outstanding professionals through experienced hires in various defense-related roles, including technical fields such as research and development and design, as well as overseas sales, business management, business development and strategy, and procurement.
Using funds raised through a paid-in capital increase last year, Hanwha Ocean is investing in securing overseas production bases for maritime defense and constructing state-of-the-art shipbuilding facilities dedicated to warships, thereby securing a global-level "super-gap defense" solution in the warship sector. Additionally, by securing top talent in the defense sector through this recruitment, they plan to accelerate their overseas market expansion and lead K-defense exports.
This recruitment has been accepting applications since the 1st of this month via Hanwha Group's official recruitment site, "Hanwha In." All hiring procedures include document screening, followed by a first-round practical interview and a second-round executive interview to select the final successful candidates.

Since joining Hanwha Group in May last year, Hanwha Ocean has consecutively won contracts for the construction of the Ulsan-class Frigate Batch-III ships No. 5 and 6, as well as the 3,600-ton medium submarine Jangbogo-III Batch II No. 3. Moving forward, they are accelerating overseas orders for submarines such as those from Poland and Canada, expanding their business scope worldwide.
