Muan County Council and Hwaseong City Council Sign Friendship Exchange Agreement
Promoting Regional Value Growth as a Mixed Urban-Rural City
The Muan County Council in Jeollanam-do (Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun) announced on the 29th that it signed a friendship exchange agreement with the Hwaseong City Council in Gyeonggi-do (Chairman Kim Kyung-hee) on the 28th, promising mutual goodwill and fostering continuous exchange and cooperation.

View original imageThe signing ceremony held in the small conference room of the Muan County Council aimed to strengthen the domestic cooperation network through mutual exchange and to jointly address common goals such as the relocation of the military airport and exploring ways to utilize tidal flat resources, thereby promoting the simultaneous enhancement of regional value as a mixed urban-rural city.
Furthermore, this agreement holds significance as it is the first time the Muan County Council independently pursued a friendship exchange. Both councils pledged to engage in legislative exchanges, mutually invite each other to major festivals, and provide mutual support in the event of disasters and emergencies.
Kim Kyung-hyun, Chairman of the Muan County Council, said, “I hope that through broad legislative exchanges, we can develop into successful partners and achieve mutual growth through this agreement.”
