KDI Hosts Green Growth Seminar in the US: "Expanding International Cooperation for Green Transition"
On the 28th (local time), KDI jointly held the '2024 Green Growth Seminar' with the World Bank at the World Bank headquarters in Washington D.C., USA.
In his opening remarks, Jongkyu Lee, Executive Vice President of KDI, emphasized, "KDI is conducting various policy research to promote Korea's transition to a low-carbon economy, and we hope this seminar will serve as an opportunity to expand international cooperation for a sustainable green transition."
This seminar brought together experts from various fields including KDI, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) to share key policy cases and research results on green growth and to explore international cooperation measures to address the global climate crisis.
