Asiana CEO Won Yuseok Promoted to President... Executive Appointments Include 1 President and 2 Senior Vice Presidents
Asiana Airlines announced on the 28th that it has promoted CEO Won Yu-seok from Vice President to President in an executive personnel reshuffle.
President Won Yu-seok joined Asiana Airlines in 1990 and has since served as Seoul Cargo Branch Manager, Head of Management Control Division, and Head of Cargo Division.
Additionally, Lim Soo-sung, Head of Strategic Planning Division, and Oh Yoon-kyu, Head of Cargo Division, were promoted from Managing Director to Executive Director. Seven Senior Managers were appointed as Managing Directors.
Executive Directors Ryu Jae-hoon and Cho Young-seok moved to the positions of Head of Safety and Security Office and Head of Service Division, respectively. Managing Directors Kim Jin, Lim Sun-jin, and Lee Joong-gi took charge of the Management Control Division, Passenger Division, and Maintenance Division, respectively.
Asiana Airlines also newly appointed representatives for its four subsidiaries: Air Busan, Asiana IDT, Asiana Airport, and Air Seoul.
Vice President Doo Sung-guk and Executive Director Jang Kyung-ho will lead Air Busan and Asiana Airport, respectively. Executive Director Kim Eung-cheol was appointed as CEO of Asiana IDT, and Managing Director Sun Wan-sung will take charge as CEO of Air Seoul.
