Gyeonggi Province received a commendation from the Chairperson of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission for its contribution to the expansion and development of the Ombudsman system.
On the 27th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it received the Chairperson's Commendation in the Ombudsman Organization category at the 12th National Rights Day ceremony hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, held at the Government Sejong Convention Center.
Since 2013, the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission has designated February 27 as "National Rights Day" and annually awards individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to "realizing a clean and just society and promoting national rights."
Gyeonggi Province received the Ombudsman Organization Division Commendation from the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on the 27th.
View original imageSince launching the Ombudsman in January 2015, Gyeonggi Province has investigated and handled 791 grievance complaints over the past eight years. Among these, it has proposed a total of 200 opinions, including 38 system improvements, 22 corrective recommendations, 65 expressions of opinion, 4 mediations and agreements, and 71 review guidances, playing a role in resolving grievances and protecting the rights of residents.
