Kiwoom Securities Revamps Investment Platform 'ChannelK'
Strengthening Investment Education Content
Kiwoom Securities announced on the 27th that it will revamp its educational content to help subscribers learn about investing through a new season of the investment study room Study-Um, following the enhancement of live broadcasts on its Channel K. Channel K is Kiwoom Securities' YouTube investment platform with approximately 1.64 million subscribers.
'Investment Study Room Study-Um' was launched with the purpose of building a solid foundation in investing for people who find investing difficult amid an uncertain macro environment and an overwhelming amount of stock information.
While Season 1 focused on education based on investment principles and investor psychology, the new season will invite various experts in the economic field to provide investment education on a wider range of topics and diverse perspectives.
The first guest will be Ji-Young Han, a research fellow at Kiwoom Securities. Research Fellow Han is Kiwoom Securities' leading strategist and market analyst. In this episode, he will help viewers understand inflation, the hottest macro keyword in the recent market, and outline investment directions.
The second guest will be Jeong-Deok Seo, head of the securities department at New Daily. He will clarify the concept of theme stocks that are rampant in the market and share investment precautions based on the past trends of theme stocks. Seo, who delivers market updates live to 10,000 viewers every morning on his personal YouTube channel, is expected to bring witty commentary.
Meanwhile, since the revamp of 'Investment Stretching to Grow My Account, Kiwoom Live' on February 1st, real-time viewers, VOD views, and chat participation have all increased by 20%, achieving the highest record this year. Real-time communication has also expanded as viewers directly select the keywords they want to hear.
