Dongshin University Joins Hands with T-FORCE Taekwondo Demonstration Team for Talent Development
Dongshin University has joined hands with the Taekwondo demonstration team 'T-FORCE' to nurture future Taekwondo talents and expand the Taekwondo base.
On the 24th, Dongshin University and the T-FORCE Taekwondo demonstration team held the ‘T-FORCE Demonstration Team Inauguration Ceremony and Business Agreement Ceremony’ at the Dongshin University gymnasium.
T-FORCE is the nation’s first Taekwondo demonstration team operated by a private organization that pays salaries to full-time demonstration members. Professor Kimi Jeong from Dongshin University’s Department of Taekwondo serves as the director.
According to the agreement, Dongshin University’s Department of Taekwondo and the T-FORCE Taekwondo demonstration team will hold Taekwondo demonstration seminars twice a month and join forces to foster demonstration team members and promote Taekwondo performance culture.
Students majoring in Taekwondo at Dongshin University can participate as T-FORCE demonstration team members to enhance their professional skills and have the opportunity to be employed as full-time demonstration members after graduation.
Additionally, they plan to operate a youth Taekwondo demonstration team, engage in talent donation and volunteer activities, contributing to the expansion of Taekwondo in the local community.
Park Yonghun, CEO of T-FORCE, said in his inaugural speech, "I hope that talents who major in Taekwondo and love Taekwondo demonstrations will continue to pursue their dreams after university graduation and lead the development of Taekwondo," adding, "We will make Taekwondo demonstration performances loved and appreciated like musicals or concerts."
