'Pamyo' Surpasses 2 Million Viewers Four Days After Release
Reached 2 Million Two Days Before 'Seoul-ui Bom'
The movie 'Pamyo' surpassed 2 million viewers just four days after its release. According to the Korea Film Council's integrated ticketing system, the cumulative audience reached 2,012,03 by 4:30 PM on the 25th. It is the fastest among this year's releases to hit the 2 million mark.
The success was anticipated. It recorded the highest advance ticket sales of the year (369,990 tickets) and attracted 330,141 viewers on its opening day (the 22nd), the largest audience ever for an occult film. It reached 2 million viewers two days earlier than last year's top-grossing film 'Seoul's Spring,' establishing a dominant position.
