At this 2023 Spring Semester degree conferment ceremony, four graduate schools?the General Graduate School, Education Graduate School, International Professional Graduate School, and Industrial Information Graduate School?conferred degrees to 87 doctoral and 242 master's graduates.
During the event, doctoral graduates and their advisors ascended the stage together to receive their diplomas, while master's graduates received their diplomas through representatives from each department.
Awards such as the "Outstanding Research Award" and the "Challenge Talent Award" were also presented.
Master's graduate Lee Seong-mi (Department of Archaeology and Art History), doctoral graduate Jeong Hyun-kwang (Department of Archaeology and Art History), master's graduate Moon Ji-hyun (Department of Chemical Engineering), and doctoral graduate Kim Hye-ran (Department of Translational Medicine) received the "Outstanding Research Award" for their creative and professional research achievements.
Doctoral graduate Chao Li Wei (Department of Fine Arts), master's graduate Ryu Jae-sung (Department of International Studies), and master's graduate Cheon Seo-hee (Early Childhood Education Major) were selected as exemplary students with outstanding passion and potential and received the "Challenge Talent Award."
President Lee said, "The society of the Fourth Industrial Revolution era constantly demands expertise and originality from us. You must once again pledge to engage in more rigorous self-management and relentless advancement. Alumni from various fields are both your guiding light and the hills you must overcome. I urge you to become proud alumni equipped with both expertise and communication skills."
