Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Awarded 'Gyeonggi Governor's Commendation' for Social Contribution Activities
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization received a commendation from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province last year in recognition of its social contribution activities.
On the 22nd, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced on the 23rd that it was selected as an outstanding social contribution institution and received a commendation from the governor at the '2024 Social Contribution Officers Meeting' held at the Gyeonggi Institute of Economy and Science Promotion in Gwanggyo Technovalley, Yeongtong, Suwon.
The selection of outstanding social contribution institutions is made by the Gyeonggi Volunteer Center, which recommends institutions with high contributions to the local community through social contribution and volunteer activities.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization received high marks particularly for all employees participating in last year's 'Gyeonggi-do Tantandaero (the main road to carbon neutrality and zero carbon) joint campaign,' taking the lead in creating habits to reduce carbon emissions at home and in the workplace.
