This month's side dish menu was prepared reflecting the seniors' health and nutritional status, seasonal factors, and needs, including kudzu root seaweed soup, seasoned pollock roe, braised anchovies, and green onion pancakes. The delivery service was supported by the JBC Volunteer Group, who extended their helping hands despite the bad weather.
Kim Sook-hee, Director of the Ulleung-gun Volunteer Center, said, “We will contribute to creating a happy Ulleung by continuously practicing neighborly love so that economically vulnerable groups can improve their health through better diets and overcome feelings of isolation through meetings with volunteers.”
