Gwangju Gwangsan-gu, Recruiting Learners for Digital Lifelong Education for New Middle-aged
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will operate a digital lifelong education program for middle-aged adults aged 40 and over starting next month.
The education will be conducted at different levels, including basic digital skills (smartphone and daily app education), advanced digital skills (video and document production), and a smartphone instructor training course.
Visiting education (digital experience bus) will also be provided by touring rural village senior centers.
In particular, this year, 22 graduates of last year's smartphone instructor training course will participate as assistant instructors. In this regard, the district grants learners who complete the instructor course and undergo practical training each year the opportunity to work as assistant instructors for each education program.
Any citizen aged 40 or older residing in the district can participate, and each program will be closed on a first-come, first-served basis with 10 to 15 participants per program.
