Dongmyeong University Selected Simultaneously for University Job Plus and Customized Employment Support Projects
Cumulative Results of Local Youth Job Creation and Employment Support for Students
Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) has been simultaneously selected by the Ministry of Employment and Labor for the University Job Plus Project (1.5 billion KRW over 5 years) and the Customized Employment Support Project for Enrolled Students (450 million KRW annually).
The simultaneous selection for these two projects is highly regarded as the result of Dongmyung University's consistent efforts to create jobs for local youth and support employment for enrolled students.
In particular, the University Job Plus Project is aimed at creating youth jobs and strengthening the social responsibility of universities. Dongmyung University has been operating various programs to promote coexistence with the local community.
Over the next five years, through the University Job Plus Project, Dongmyung University plans to operate programs including ▲ youth job creation (customized education and mentoring to solve employment issues, startup support, fostering social enterprises, etc.), ▲ industrial innovation support (supporting technology development and competitiveness of small and medium enterprises, workforce training, etc.), and ▲ solving local community issues (related research and consulting).
Additionally, through the Customized Employment Support Project for Enrolled Students, the university plans to implement ▲ employment consulting (personalized employment counseling and career exploration support), ▲ employment competency enhancement (training on interviews, resume writing, self-introduction, etc.), and ▲ hosting job fairs (providing opportunities to connect with companies).
