Gyeonggi-do Rolls Up Sleeves to Support Solo Creators... Participants Recruitment Until Next Month 20
Gyeonggi Province is recruiting participants for the solo creator production support project until the 20th of next month.
On the 22nd, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will select participants for the project divided into the ‘Ready-made’ category (uploading edited videos) and the ‘Live’ category (streaming live videos through live platforms without editing).
Gyeonggi Province will select a total of 60 teams (40 teams for Ready-made, 20 teams for Live) through document and interview evaluations. They will compete in three stages through an open competition. Production support funds and capacity-building programs will be provided differently at each stage. Teams advancing to the final third stage will receive a total production support fund of 7 million KRW.
Gyeonggi Province will provide the 60 teams with production support funds as well as capacity-building programs such as expert consulting, special lectures, and networking events among creators. Additionally, the top 5 outstanding creator teams selected through evaluation will be granted special programs such as external promotional opportunities according to demand.
The Gyeonggi Province solo creator support project, which started in 2017, targets creators based in Gyeonggi Province who have channels with between 1,000 and 100,000 subscribers. Applicants must have planned and produced at least five video contents that have been posted, and their activity period must be within the last three years.
Through the solo creator support project, Gyeonggi Province has supported the growth of various solo creators in different fields, including ‘Janna Korea,’ which currently has 2.18 million subscribers, as well as ▲Bokwonwang ▲Ddakji (DDAKG) ▲Fitvley (FITVLEY) ▲Winter Bookstore.
