Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) has been honored as an outstanding institution in the '2023 Comprehensive Civil Service Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
The comprehensive civil service evaluation is conducted on a total of 306 institutions, including metropolitan and basic local governments nationwide, central administrative agencies, and city/provincial offices of education, assessing the handling of civil service affairs over the past year.
The evaluation method consists of a written assessment of 20 indicators across three categories and a telephone survey measuring civil service satisfaction, conducted through a relative evaluation method based on the grade ratio by unit.
In this evaluation, the district received high scores in ▲statutory civil service satisfaction ▲civil service administrative performance ▲protection of vulnerable civil service groups and civil service officers. It also received excellent evaluations in the 'Efforts to Improve Civil Service Administration' section of the National Sinmungo civil service processing category.
The district has consistently carried out impressive administration by attentively listening to even the smallest voices of residents on-site through Gwanakcheong (聽), where the mayor meets directly with residents every Thursday, and through mobile Gwanakcheong.
With this evaluation, the district has once again been nationally recognized for excellently realizing 'communication administration' that interacts with residents.
Additionally, the district was highly evaluated in various aspects such as ▲operating diverse civil services for socially considerate groups ▲operating the civil service office during lunch hours through shift work ▲active external activities and publicity to prevent the occurrence of grievance civil services.
