The appointment proposal for Park Min-won, professor of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Control Engineering at National Changwon University, to become president passed the Cabinet meeting on the 20th.
According to Changwon University on the 21st, the personnel appointment proposal to appoint Professor Park as the 9th president of Changwon University was approved at the Cabinet meeting held at the Presidential Office the previous day.

He will become the first president who graduated from Changwon University upon inauguration.
Previously, in the final election for the presidential candidate last August, Professor Park became the top candidate by receiving 52.3% of the votes.
He completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering at Changwon University and earned his master's and doctoral degrees in Electrical Engineering from Osaka University in Japan.
