Geumcheon-gu, MZ Newbie Public Officials' Adaptation Training for Public Service Life at Their Level
Training for 33 Newly Appointed Public Officials in Geumcheon-gu... Peer Senior Officials Serve as Mentors to Share Extensive Experience
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) conducted customized training for 33 newly appointed public officials since September last year at the district office auditorium on the 20th.
The district prepared the training to enhance new public officials' understanding of district administration and to improve their organizational and work adaptability across public service.
The main training topics included ▲ major district administration status ▲ service attendance ▲ employee education ▲ welfare ▲ carbon neutrality experiential education ▲ workplace courtesy training ▲ adapting to public service through peer senior officials ▲ official document education, covering eight areas in total.
This year, especially for MZ generation public officials, peer senior officials served as instructors to vividly share practical experiences for adapting to public service.
The officer in charge of the lecture "Adapting to Public Service through Peer Seniors" said, "I took on this lecture with the hope of helping junior public officials adapt to their work even a little."
The senior public official specifically explained how to organize work materials. Instead of organizing folders by year, they recommended detailed classification by project. Regarding interpersonal relationships within public service, which may be difficult for the MZ generation, they advised, "Colleagues become a great support during difficult times," and added, "Even if you don't have close friends now, if you fulfill your duties, seniors and colleagues who recognize you will appear."
