Police Investigation Launched into Resident Doctors' Guidelines Post on 'Data Deletion'
The police have launched an investigation after action guidelines instructing residents who planned collective action in protest of the expansion of medical school quotas to delete data before resignation were shared on an online community.
On the 19th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul stated that they are investigating, believing the post was first uploaded on a community used by doctors and medical students.
The post titled "A must-read for residents leaving the hospital" included content such as, "Delete the handover documents from your desktop and the department's shared folder before leaving. Also, change the set orders (sets of essential prescriptions grouped for easier prescribing) to something strange before leaving. Since some hospitals can recover deleted files, arbitrarily changing them is the best option."
