Incheon City Provides 3 Billion KRW Loan Support to Companies Improving Odor Prevention Facilities
Incheon City announced on the 19th that it will provide loans from an odor management fund worth 3 billion KRW to small and medium-sized enterprises improving odor prevention facilities.
The target areas for the project are Namdong-gu and the northwestern region (around Dream-ro in Seo-gu and Gyeyang-gu). Businesses installing new odor prevention facilities or expanding/replacing existing ones can receive up to 300 million KRW under conditions of a 2-year grace period and 5 years of equal quarterly repayments (interest-free).
The funds can be used for costs related to installing odor prevention or pollution source capture facilities, as well as improving treatment processes at wastewater treatment plants and waste treatment facilities.
Applications for the loan can be submitted until October 31, by visiting, mailing, or faxing the application form and required documents to the Odor Management Team of the Air Quality Conservation Division in Incheon City. However, the program may end early if the budget is exhausted.
