Dobong-gu Supports Up to 1 Million Won for Tuition Fees When Obtaining National Certifications
Apply through the old website by March 27, winners selected by lottery
Check eligibility for national certificates on the Q-Net portal
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) announced that it will promote a national certification acquisition support project for residents who wish to take professional certification exams for employment and entrepreneurship.
This project, which started in 2022, supports selected residents by covering lecture fees, exam fees, and certification issuance fees required for obtaining national certifications.
Selected residents can claim expenses after finally obtaining the national certification, with support of up to 1 million KRW per person. If the budget remains, additional support will be provided to those on the waiting list.
Support is available for acquiring one certification per person, and anyone aged 19 or older who is unemployed and residing in Dobong-gu can apply.
Applications are open until March 27 on the Dobong-gu website (Communication & Participation → Internet Application/Reservation). Thirty people will be selected through a computerized lottery, and those not selected will be assigned waiting numbers.
The national certifications eligible for support can be checked on Q-Net, the national certification and exam information portal operated by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. Driver’s licenses and computer proficiency certifications are excluded.
Details such as recruitment period, methods, and required documents can be found on the Dobong-gu website.
